Havas Unveils “Converged” Strategic Plan, Including Major Investment In Marketing Tech, Data and Gen AI

Havas has unveiled an important evolution to its global strategy, including major investments to meet clients’ increasing needs for fully integrated communications solutions. The Converged plan aims to enhance global collaboration by fusing talent, capabilities, platforms, and expertise. This plan will leverage Havas’ strengths in creativity, media, and production, powered by advanced technology and AI.

Built upon Havas’ industry-leading Converged media tool, the new Operating System (OS) aims to provide transparent cross-platform audience planning. This AI-powered solution will be available across all Havas networks, enhancing the group’s ability to craft integrated and sustainable communications solutions. The OS focuses on four steps to match the client journey: Intelligence, Design, Activate, and Measure.

To support this initiative, Havas will invest approximately $430 million over the next four years in marketing technology, data, and AI. This financial commitment builds on Havas’ consistent investment in new capabilities and tools, as well as strategic partnerships with global technology leaders like Adobe. Additionally, Havas will appoint a Global Task Force to oversee this major investment.

The company plans to transform the client experience by creating, producing, and distributing personalized and meaningful content at scale. Havas will adopt a more centrally led client structure, appointing a new global chief client officer to ensure a seamless experience for clients worldwide.

As Havas looks to the future, it prepares for a potential public listing while continuing to experience strong growth, creative success, and record years in mergers and acquisitions. Yannick Bolloré, Havas chairman and CEO, expressed excitement about the transformative development and its potential to supercharge the company’s impact for clients and shape the future of the communications industry.
